Archie started training under his own license in 2016, at Saxon Gate, with just 3 horses, after an apprenticeship served in Newmarket, South Africa and America. In 2018 he saddled a record breaking 107 winners, including his first Royal Ascot winner, Soldier’s Call.
Since 2016, Archie has saddled over 400 winners, won prestigious Group races, including the Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot in 2020 with Glen Shiel, and the HH The Amir Trophy in Qatar in 2022 with Outbox, and has also enjoyed several Listed winners.
